Riding the North Pole Express

We had to wait until after the Christmas show at Gateway to really get into the holiday spirit, we were just TOO busy! But finally we were able to enjoy some family time celebrating the holidays.
(Check out the video at the end of this post- too cute!)
First off was making and decorating Christmas cookies!

Then decorating the house. we decided to forgo the big tree this year. But we love our little "Charlie Brown" tree :)

In grapevine we stopped by the Christmas display before heading to the train station

The giant train display was pretty cool

Mikey thought it was pretty cool!

It's Dora! Joshua just HAD to take a picture with her :)

Joshua also needed to pose by "Frosty"

we got the kids a giant corn dog to split

Sipping Hot Cocoa, waiting for the little show to begin

Finally on the train!

Me and Mikey

Looking at the scenery outside

Will I ever get my ticket punched?!!

The conductor finally gets to him

Finally got his ticket punched

examining the punches

The train was decorated so nicely!

Getting Christmas wishes from Santa

Joshua had a lot to say!

A little face time with Santa!

Aww so cute! I love the cookies, the train ride, your little Christmas tree (I debated doing that this year a thousand times!), and your totally cute pink hat! Merry Christmas!
